Nigerian singer, Dammykrane, arrested today in Miami, U.S, for grand theft, credit card fraud and identity fraud

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri says Isco is Real Madrid's biggest threat because he is 'difficult to read'

Juvenus boss Massimiliano Allegri believes the presence of Isco makes Real Madrid more difficult to read.
The midfielder is expected to start in Saturday's Champions League final in Cardiff as Real go in search of their 12th European Cup.
Allegri has also singled out Gareth Bale as a danger but feels Isco is more of an unknown quantity.

He said: 'Bale is fast and gives a lot of order to Real Madrid; Isco has had a great season and has grown a lot and makes Real Madrid more difficult to read.
'We've talked to the team. Bale's very fast, has great speed and in open field he's devastating – in three passes he can take it from one end of the pitch to the other. Isco is less predictable than Bale but he gives Madrid less defensive order.
In their previous 18 fixtures in the Champions League, both have won eight matches with two games drawn.

The ruling Fine Gael party elected Mr Varadkar, 38, as its leader this evening.

On his 36th birthday in January 2015 during an interview on Ireland's RTÉ Radio, Mr Varadkar spoke publicly for the first time about being gay.

'It’s just part of who I am, it doesn't define me, it is part of my character.'
This made him the first openly gay cabinet member in Ireland.

Man in Lagos stabs wife for allowing another man cut his nails in her shop

A 45-year-old beer parlour operator, Kudirat Sodiq, on Friday told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos that her husband always bites her whenever they quarrel.
She said that Wahabi, her husband of 23 years, was also threatening her life.
‘My husband left scars on my body as he always bites me whenever we fight.
‘My husband will not leave me until he sees blood coming out from the wound, I have scars all over my body as proof of his abuse.’
The petitioner said that apart from the bites, her husband was also threatening her life.
‘Wahabi is always threatening to kill me by suffocating me to death with a pillow.
‘Because of his threat, I ran away from the house I built and relocated just to save my life.
‘Last month, he came to my shop, saying that he will kill me, he smashed a beer bottle on the ground and wanted to stab me on my neck.
‘I used my hand to dodge it and the bottle cut me on my right hand, blood was gushing out but for the quick intervention of neighbours who rushed me to the hospital, I could have died.’
The mother of four presented as exhibit recording of her husband’s alleged threat, and the picture of her injured hand.
The woman also accused Wahabi of attempting to appropriate her house.
‘My husband wanted to sell my house, he approached land grabbers asking for the original document of my house.
‘The people called me to know if I was the one that sent my husband to come for the document.
My husband drinks to stupor and smokes Indian hemp, after which he usually loses self-control.’
She begged the court to dissolve the union, saying she was no longer in love with her husband.
‘I live every minute of my life in fear. Save me from the cruel hands of my husband, I have suffered so much in silence.’
Wahabi, on the other hand, said that his wife was adulterous and having extra marital affairs.
‘I caught my wife inside her shop with a man cutting his nail, immediately I entered the man quickly stood up and left,’ he said.
The 47-year-old transporter said that he has stopped smoking weeds and drinking alcoholic for some weeks.
The respondent said that he never threatened to kill his wife but that he stabbed her by mistake.
He made a fervent plea to the court not to dissolve the marriage, claiming that he was still in love with his wife.
The president of the court, Adegboyega Omilola adjourned the case till July 25, for judgment.

(VIDEO) Kaffy and Davido settle their beef

Following the social media beef between Kaffy and Davido last year, the duo have finally reconciled.
Kaffy had accused Davido of hiring her dancers for a show and later bounced them off the stage and refused to pay them.
According to Kaffy, ‘It wasn’t unfair of Davido to treat dancers disrespectfully after receiving millions of Naira for a show while they are paid pittance.’
In a cryptic Instagram post, Kaffy said, ‘ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! It’s all right if artistes don’t need us. We are artistes ourselves.
‘It is very disrespectful for you to look down at and trample on people whom in one way or the other contribute to where you are today.
‘Dance is our widow’s mite to a lot of your careers. All you need to do is respect us.
‘Even other people under you suffer as a result of your arrogance from stylist to band members.’
But both the dancer and the singer have kissed and hugged, and are friends now.
They were spotted at a radio station together earlier today.

They were the last to escape until Amina Ali also escaped last year after two years with the terrorists. The two schoolgirls were among a dozen Nigerian girls sponsored to schools abroad by the NGO with the help of Mr. Ogebe.

Antoine Griezmann 'ends Manchester United's hopes' by penning an improved deal at Atletico Madrid

Manchester United's hopes of signing Antoine Griezmann have been dashed after the Frenchman has agreed a new deal at Atletico Madrid, according to AS.
Griezmann was top of United's shopping list this summer but with Atletico's transfer ban upheld the player has opted to reaffirm his loyalty by taking a new deal at the club.
The 26-year-old penned a deal at the club three months ago which would see him stay at the club until 2021, but it appears the club have now had to up his wages again to keep him in Madrid this summer.

The forward has accepted the improved offer which was made to him three weeks ago when the club were inundated with offers from some of Europe's elite — namely United.
Upon the news of Atletico's ban being implemented, the Frenchman shared a picture of himself on Twitter in an Atletico shirt, alongside the caption: 'Now more than ever #Atleti #AllTogether.'
The Madrid club are banned from recruiting players this summer but are hopeful that Griezmann's signature will act as a pull for the likes of Diego Costa, Sandro and Vitolo next January.

Liverpool offer Mohamed Salah almost double his Roma wage but Italian club are holding out for £40million fee

Liverpool will nearly double Mohamed Salah's wages as they look to close a deal for one of their prime summer transfer targets.
The Egypt international currently earns £50,000 per week with AS Roma but Liverpool have put together terms worth around £90,000 per week in an offer to his agent Ramy Abbas to bring Salah back to the Premier League - he previously had an unsuccessful 11 month spell at Chelsea in 2014.
Liverpool have been in negotiations with Roma, who need to trim their squad to fit in with financial fair play parameters, and had a £28million rejected on Thursday.

Roma are holding out for a fee closer to £40million but discussions are continuing between Michael Edwards, Liverpool's Sporting Director and Monchi, the renowned negotiator who gained his reputation at Sevilla.
Fenway Sports Group, Liverpool's owners, will back Jurgen Klopp this summer and it is likely their outlay will be greater than anything the club has spent before as they look to consolidate the progress that was made last season and ensure they are prepared for a potential Champions League campaign.
At his unveiling this week, Peter Moore, Liverpool's new Chief Executive, confirmed: 'You can expect to strengthen the team. Michael is diligently working away and I will be interested the same as you to see what is going on.'
Asked specifically if there would be significant funds for Klopp, Moore replied: 'You are exactly right when you say there is money to back the manager and the sporting director.'
Salah was a target for Brendan Rodgers three years ago when he was in charge of Liverpool but they could not get a deal done with Basel and he ended up moving to Stamford Bridge.

Putin urges end to ‘harmful chatter’ over Russian meddling

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday called for an end to allegations that Moscow meddled in the US election, as he tried to highlight a fragile economic recovery.
The Kremlin strongman launched a blistering attack on accusations he said were baseless that Moscow was behind a hacking and influence campaign aimed at getting Donald Trump elected.
"This useless and harmful chatter needs to stop," Putin told Russia's annual showcase economic forum in Saint Petersburg
"This is a transferral, I repeat, of internal political squabbling in the United States onto the international arena," Putin said.
"It is harmful, it damages international relations and the world economy and security issues and the fight with terrorism."
US intelligence has accused Putin of ordering a hacking and influence campaign to tilt last year's election in Trump's favour, after the billionaire pledged to boost ties with Moscow.
But Trump has failed to make good on Russian hopes that he will restore relations as a series of probes into potential collusion between his camp and Moscow have made the issue politically toxic.
Putin said that the allegations against Moscow "reminds me of anti-Semitism. The Jews are blamed for everything". He also rubbished claims the Kremlin had struck secret deals with Trump's team.
Russia's relations with the West have slumped to their lowest point since the end of the Cold War due to the crisis in Ukraine and differences over Syria.
The West has slapped economic sanctions on Moscow, while Russia has responded with its own punitive measures.
At a meeting with US business leaders earlier Putin urged them to help Moscow establish a dialogue with Trump, as ties remains deadlocked amid probes into possible collusion.
"Help us to set up a normal political dialogues," Putin said.
"I ask you on behalf of Russia and appeal to the Americans: help the newly-elected president as well."
