Nigerian singer, Dammykrane, arrested today in Miami, U.S, for grand theft, credit card fraud and identity fraud

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri says Isco is Real Madrid's biggest threat because he is 'difficult to read'

Juvenus boss Massimiliano Allegri believes the presence of Isco makes Real Madrid more difficult to read.
The midfielder is expected to start in Saturday's Champions League final in Cardiff as Real go in search of their 12th European Cup.
Allegri has also singled out Gareth Bale as a danger but feels Isco is more of an unknown quantity.

He said: 'Bale is fast and gives a lot of order to Real Madrid; Isco has had a great season and has grown a lot and makes Real Madrid more difficult to read.
'We've talked to the team. Bale's very fast, has great speed and in open field he's devastating – in three passes he can take it from one end of the pitch to the other. Isco is less predictable than Bale but he gives Madrid less defensive order.
In their previous 18 fixtures in the Champions League, both have won eight matches with two games drawn.

Son of Indian immigrant on course to become Ireland's first openly gay prime minister after being chosen to succeed Enda Kenny

Leo Varadkar is on course to succeed Enda Kenny as Ireland's prime minister.
The former social protection minister will be the Catholic country's first openly gay prime minister, its first of Indian descent and the youngest person ever to hold the office.
The ruling Fine Gael party elected Mr Varadkar, 38, as its leader this evening.
He received the publicly declared support of almost two-thirds of the parliamentary party, who account for 65 percent of the vote,

On his 36th birthday in January 2015 during an interview on Ireland's RTÉ Radio, Mr Varadkar spoke publicly for the first time about being gay.
He said: 'It’s not something that defines me. I'm not a half-Indian politician, or a doctor politician or a gay politician for that matter.
'It’s just part of who I am, it doesn't define me, it is part of my character.'
This made him the first openly gay cabinet member in Ireland.
Varadkar was a prominent advocate of the same-sex marriage referendum.
His partner, Matthew Barrett, is a doctor at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.

Man in Lagos stabs wife for allowing another man cut his nails in her shop

A 45-year-old beer parlour operator, Kudirat Sodiq, on Friday told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos that her husband always bites her whenever they quarrel.
She said that Wahabi, her husband of 23 years, was also threatening her life.
‘My husband left scars on my body as he always bites me whenever we fight.
‘My husband will not leave me until he sees blood coming out from the wound, I have scars all over my body as proof of his abuse.’
The petitioner said that apart from the bites, her husband was also threatening her life.
‘Wahabi is always threatening to kill me by suffocating me to death with a pillow.
‘Because of his threat, I ran away from the house I built and relocated just to save my life.
‘Last month, he came to my shop, saying that he will kill me, he smashed a beer bottle on the ground and wanted to stab me on my neck.
‘I used my hand to dodge it and the bottle cut me on my right hand, blood was gushing out but for the quick intervention of neighbours who rushed me to the hospital, I could have died.’
The mother of four presented as exhibit recording of her husband’s alleged threat, and the picture of her injured hand.
The woman also accused Wahabi of attempting to appropriate her house.
‘My husband wanted to sell my house, he approached land grabbers asking for the original document of my house.
‘The people called me to know if I was the one that sent my husband to come for the document.
My husband drinks to stupor and smokes Indian hemp, after which he usually loses self-control.’
She begged the court to dissolve the union, saying she was no longer in love with her husband.
‘I live every minute of my life in fear. Save me from the cruel hands of my husband, I have suffered so much in silence.’
Wahabi, on the other hand, said that his wife was adulterous and having extra marital affairs.
‘I caught my wife inside her shop with a man cutting his nail, immediately I entered the man quickly stood up and left,’ he said.
The 47-year-old transporter said that he has stopped smoking weeds and drinking alcoholic for some weeks.
The respondent said that he never threatened to kill his wife but that he stabbed her by mistake.
He made a fervent plea to the court not to dissolve the marriage, claiming that he was still in love with his wife.
The president of the court, Adegboyega Omilola adjourned the case till July 25, for judgment.

(VIDEO) Kaffy and Davido settle their beef

Following the social media beef between Kaffy and Davido last year, the duo have finally reconciled.
Kaffy had accused Davido of hiring her dancers for a show and later bounced them off the stage and refused to pay them.
According to Kaffy, ‘It wasn’t unfair of Davido to treat dancers disrespectfully after receiving millions of Naira for a show while they are paid pittance.’
In a cryptic Instagram post, Kaffy said, ‘ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! It’s all right if artistes don’t need us. We are artistes ourselves.
‘It is very disrespectful for you to look down at and trample on people whom in one way or the other contribute to where you are today.
‘Dance is our widow’s mite to a lot of your careers. All you need to do is respect us.
‘Even other people under you suffer as a result of your arrogance from stylist to band members.’
But both the dancer and the singer have kissed and hugged, and are friends now.
They were spotted at a radio station together earlier today.

All thanks to Eminem, ‘Stan’ has been added to the dictionary

Just like when Beyonce‘s ‘Bootylicious’ was added to the dictionary, Oxford on June 1 formally added Eminem‘s ‘Stan’ to the dictionary.
‘Stan’ comes from the award-winning rapper’s 2000 song of the same title which featured Dido.
That said, the word had already been in use; majorly among Eminem fans who referred to themselves as Stans.
As a noun, ‘Stan’ is ‘An overzealous or obsessive fan of a particular celebrity,’ while as a verb, it is to ‘be an overzealous or obsessive fan of a particular celebrity.’

Two Chibok schoolgirls who escaped from their Boko Haram abductors in 2014 have graduated from a high school in Washington DC

The two girls, known by their first names, Debbie and Grace, on Thursday graduated after completing junior year (11th grade) and senior year (12th grade) at a prestigious private international school in the Washington metro area in America.
This was disclosed through a press release on Friday by Emmanuel Ogebe, a U.S.-based human rights lawyer and the International Director of Education Must Continue Initiative, a Nigerian non-governmental organization involved in the care of the girls.
According to the release, Debbie and Grace were among 57 girls who escaped from the terrorists after the mass abduction of almost 300 of them at Government Girls State School in April 2014. .
Unlike most of their colleagues who jumped out of the trucks in which they were being herded away into captivity, the two girls arrived the terrorists camp in Sambisa forest before escaping back home in a terrifying journey that took about a week with their captors in hot pursuit. .
They were the last to escape until Amina Ali also escaped last year after two years with the terrorists. The two schoolgirls were among a dozen Nigerian girls sponsored to schools abroad by the NGO with the help of Mr. Ogebe.
The NGO is run by victims of Boko Haram helping other victims to overcome the impact of the insurgency. "By this graduation, Debbie and Grace became the first escaped Chibok girls to graduate from an American high school with diplomas after completing and meeting academic standards,” Mr. Ogebe stated

Antoine Griezmann 'ends Manchester United's hopes' by penning an improved deal at Atletico Madrid

Manchester United's hopes of signing Antoine Griezmann have been dashed after the Frenchman has agreed a new deal at Atletico Madrid, according to AS.
Griezmann was top of United's shopping list this summer but with Atletico's transfer ban upheld the player has opted to reaffirm his loyalty by taking a new deal at the club.
The 26-year-old penned a deal at the club three months ago which would see him stay at the club until 2021, but it appears the club have now had to up his wages again to keep him in Madrid this summer.

The forward has accepted the improved offer which was made to him three weeks ago when the club were inundated with offers from some of Europe's elite — namely United.
Upon the news of Atletico's ban being implemented, the Frenchman shared a picture of himself on Twitter in an Atletico shirt, alongside the caption: 'Now more than ever #Atleti #AllTogether.'
The Madrid club are banned from recruiting players this summer but are hopeful that Griezmann's signature will act as a pull for the likes of Diego Costa, Sandro and Vitolo next January.

Liverpool offer Mohamed Salah almost double his Roma wage but Italian club are holding out for £40million fee

Liverpool will nearly double Mohamed Salah's wages as they look to close a deal for one of their prime summer transfer targets.
The Egypt international currently earns £50,000 per week with AS Roma but Liverpool have put together terms worth around £90,000 per week in an offer to his agent Ramy Abbas to bring Salah back to the Premier League - he previously had an unsuccessful 11 month spell at Chelsea in 2014.
Liverpool have been in negotiations with Roma, who need to trim their squad to fit in with financial fair play parameters, and had a £28million rejected on Thursday.

Roma are holding out for a fee closer to £40million but discussions are continuing between Michael Edwards, Liverpool's Sporting Director and Monchi, the renowned negotiator who gained his reputation at Sevilla.
Fenway Sports Group, Liverpool's owners, will back Jurgen Klopp this summer and it is likely their outlay will be greater than anything the club has spent before as they look to consolidate the progress that was made last season and ensure they are prepared for a potential Champions League campaign.
At his unveiling this week, Peter Moore, Liverpool's new Chief Executive, confirmed: 'You can expect to strengthen the team. Michael is diligently working away and I will be interested the same as you to see what is going on.'
Asked specifically if there would be significant funds for Klopp, Moore replied: 'You are exactly right when you say there is money to back the manager and the sporting director.'
Salah was a target for Brendan Rodgers three years ago when he was in charge of Liverpool but they could not get a deal done with Basel and he ended up moving to Stamford Bridge.

Putin urges end to ‘harmful chatter’ over Russian meddling

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday called for an end to allegations that Moscow meddled in the US election, as he tried to highlight a fragile economic recovery.
The Kremlin strongman launched a blistering attack on accusations he said were baseless that Moscow was behind a hacking and influence campaign aimed at getting Donald Trump elected.
"This useless and harmful chatter needs to stop," Putin told Russia's annual showcase economic forum in Saint Petersburg
"This is a transferral, I repeat, of internal political squabbling in the United States onto the international arena," Putin said.
"It is harmful, it damages international relations and the world economy and security issues and the fight with terrorism."
US intelligence has accused Putin of ordering a hacking and influence campaign to tilt last year's election in Trump's favour, after the billionaire pledged to boost ties with Moscow.
But Trump has failed to make good on Russian hopes that he will restore relations as a series of probes into potential collusion between his camp and Moscow have made the issue politically toxic.
Putin said that the allegations against Moscow "reminds me of anti-Semitism. The Jews are blamed for everything". He also rubbished claims the Kremlin had struck secret deals with Trump's team.
Russia's relations with the West have slumped to their lowest point since the end of the Cold War due to the crisis in Ukraine and differences over Syria.
The West has slapped economic sanctions on Moscow, while Russia has responded with its own punitive measures.
At a meeting with US business leaders earlier Putin urged them to help Moscow establish a dialogue with Trump, as ties remains deadlocked amid probes into possible collusion.
"Help us to set up a normal political dialogues," Putin said.
"I ask you on behalf of Russia and appeal to the Americans: help the newly-elected president as well."

Leaked emails fuel trouble for South Africa’s embattled Zuma

South Africa's ruling ANC party on Friday asked the government to explain leaked emails detailing alleged bribes and corruption, as President Jacob Zuma faced a fresh wave of scandal.
Thousands of emails have emerged in the local press exposing alleged misconduct over lucrative government contracts awarded to the Guptas, an influential Indian business family.
Zuma has been under growing pressure to resign from senior ANC figures, trade unions and business leaders, as well as from tens of thousands of marchers at a series of street demonstrations.
"These reports contain very worrying claims about the nature of the relationship between government and private interests," the ANC said in a statement.
"The African National Congress calls on government to urgently seek to establish the veracity of these claims and explanation from those implicated."
One apparent deal revealed by the emails alleged that the government assisted the Guptas in making a 5.3 billion rand ($410 million) profit from a procurement deal to buy trains from China.
Other allegations suggest the Guptas helped Zuma's son Duduzane to buy a $1.3-million flat in Dubai, and that the president -- who faces multiple court cases in South Africa -- was seeking residency in the city.
A state ombudsman report last year called for prosecutors to investigate accusations that Zuma allowed the Guptas to have undue influence over government, including letting them choose ministers.
Brian Molefe, a close ally of Zuma, resigned as Eskom chief after being implicated in the ombudsman report.
He was re-appointed this month but soon removed from the post again as Zuma's government struggled to react to the developing controversy.
The president, 74, has survived a string of scandals, but faces increasing criticism as the South African economy stalls and after the ANC suffered unprecedented losses in local polls last year.
The Gupta family -- brothers Ajay, Atul and Rajesh -- built an empire in mining, transportation, technology and media after arriving in South Africa in the early 1990s.
Zuma, who came to office in 2009, is due to step down as head of the ANC in December, and as national president ahead of the 2019 general election.
He is seen as favouring his ex-wife, former African Union chief Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, to succeed him.
Zuma brushed off criticism in parliament on Thursday, while the Guptas deny all wrong-doing.

Trump asks Supreme Court to reinstate Muslim travel ban

President Donald Trump's administration asked the US Supreme Court on Thursday to reinstate its temporary ban on travelers from six Muslim majority nations despite repeated setbacks in the lower courts.
In its filing, the government asked the top US court to rule on the legal standing of Trump's order, appealing a ruling by the federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals that upheld a nationwide block of the travel ban.
It also asked the Supreme Court to lift another US-wide injunction issued by a federal judge in a separate case based in Hawaii. That case is currently before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, where a decision is pending.
The administration is "confident that President Trump's executive order is well within his lawful authority to keep the nation safe and protect our communities from terrorism," Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores said.
"The president is not required to admit people from countries that sponsor or shelter terrorism, until he determines that they can be properly vetted and do not pose a security risk to the United States."
The filing came one week after the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling dealt a fresh blow to Trump's efforts to push the controversial travel ban that has triggered mass protests and confusion at airports.
The Fourth Circuit said it "remained unconvinced" that the part of the measure naming the specific countries -- Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen -- had "more to do with national security than it does with effectuating the president's promised Muslim ban."

Liverpool unveil away strip for 2017-18 season inspired by the first kit ever worn by the club in 1892

Liverpool have unveiled a quartered green and white away strip for the 2017-18 season.
The shirt is a continuation of the retro theme Liverpool are styling for next season - their 125th anniversary and based upon the first strip the club wore in 1892.
The kit is modelled by Georgino Wijnaldum, Loris Karius, captain Jordan Henderson and vice captain James Milner.
This kit looks classic – up to date, but with a nod to the past,' Milner said.
'It will be a reminder of the foundations this great club is built on every time we wear it.
'The whole team is really proud to be a part of this huge anniversary for the club, and we can't wait to wear this kit next season.'

Zinedine Zidane names entire Real Madrid first-team squad in travelling group for Champions League final

Zinedine Zidane has announced his squad to take on Juventus in the Champions League final.
Real Madrid are taking their entire first-team squad to Cardiff, including Zidane's son Enzo who plays in midfield.
There are no heart-breaking suspensions for the final and the Frenchman will have his full complement to choose from.

REAL MADRID SQUAD VS JUVENTUS

Goalkeepers - Navas, Casilla, Ruben Yanez
Defenders - Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Coentrao, Danilo
Midfielders - Kroos, James, Casemiro, Kovacic, Modric, Asensio, Isco, Enzo
Forwards - Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Vazquez, Mariano and Morata
Gareth Bale and Dani Carvajal have both been returning to full fitness from injury in recent weeks and have been included.
In terms of the starting line-up, Bale is one player who could miss out due to not only his lack of match sharpness, but also the scintillating form of Isco.
Midfield is another area of contention with Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro likely to be given the nod.
It has been a lengthy season for Real who have needed to make use of the entire group en route to their domestic triumph and progression to the final.
It seems fitting that all of the first-team will be in Cardiff and no doubt enjoy the celebrations as a group in the Welsh capital should Los Blancos triumph on Saturday night.

A search of the vehicle revealed his ID card, drivers license and car documents.
