Veteran Bollywood actor, Om Puri died of a heart attack

Veteran Indian actor, Om Puri passed on after suffering a heart attack at his residence in Mumbai early on Friday, January 6, 2017.
The actor was aged 66.
Om Puri made his acting debut in 1976 film Ghashiram Kotwal. He was a versatile actor that acted in Indian, Pakistani, British and Hollywood films. He was awarded an honorary OBE for his contribution to the British film industry in 2004.
Some of his popular movies include, East is East, The Hundred-Foot Journey which he acted in alongide Dame Helen MirrenCity of Joy, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Charlie Wilson’s War, Ardh Satya, Sadgati, Paar and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro.
Puri is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nandita Puri and their son Ishaan.
